Man, when I got that baseball bat, it was the best thing ever. I think one of the videos is almost entirely just clips of knocking people across the room. And that mine pile that almost crashed my game near the end... I kept getting that weird black cloud bug with all the explosions, what's that about
If I were ever to play the game myself, I would most likely make a melee oriented character, just to perform **** like that.
And then a gunslinger after that.
The black cloud bug could be fixed by restarting the game. At least that's what I read.
Something to do with how long the game has been running or some shiz.
One of the first things you should do in that case is get the world series bat. It's only a small chance to send people flying, but it happens often enough to fully satisfying.
Ah thanks for the tip. I did tend to play it hours at a time. Probably taking a decent break from it now though.
I can only suspect that you've been using the railway rifle. You know the one, the railroad spikes go through **** , and stick to other **** . If that other **** is someone's head, that's what it's going to stick to.
I must confess, I didn't even see the second guy. Looks like the bullet went straight through the first guy, exploded the head of second guy, then hit the wall behind them.
i shot this guy 3 times in the head with a 50.cal sniper and he still managed to kill kent....i really hate the headshot dmg in bethesda games then i lowered the difficulty
I tried that... Survival mode is not friendly to **** like this. The fight eventually boiled down to me using my 32 round combat shotgun to just blast everyone in the face from close range while scarfing down jet, med-x, and psycho.
that quest bugged out like crap for me
there was a random protectron wandering around the bui8lding which aggroed all the raiders, no matter how slow and stealthy or fast and loose i tried to do it they always killed the guy befor i could get to the lift
If anyone is genuinely curious, it's because most weapons in Fallout 4 are hitscan, and a good number of weapons, especially those that cannot become sniper rifles will stop at the first person it hits...
This however does not apply to the V.A.T.S. slo-mo bullet cam that sometimes happens on a headshot kill, since it creates a physical object that damage is tied to its collison, as it passes through the targeted person. After passing through the targeted person, the bullet object continues on and and can possibly collide with other Actors along the way, even though the weapon normally does not have bullet penetration.
Alternately, hes using an Armor-Peircing Receiver, that could also be a simpler explaination.
I call ******** on that, or just people are unlucky with weird glitches, because I dumped 120 some hours into the game, with atleast 70 of that with that sensor on. If anything they are aggroing people that have a conditioned response, like getting too close or being somewhere you're not suppose to be, or staying somewhere too long that x person is protecting ( happened with the mercs around the insane asylum, was picken flowers too long and they jumped my ass)
You can call ******** all you want but when multiple people have the same issue it's not an unlucky coincidence. Look it up. There's quite a few people complaining about it.
Some of them completely missed the Kellog dialogue because he immediately attacks you as soon as you enter the room. I was lucky and thought that was odd since he says "Ok, I'm telling the Synths to stand down" and then just immediately opened fire on me so I looked it up and lo and behold as soon as I removed the helmet on my PA it was fixed.
theres reports that it will sometimes randomly aggro people in the covenant, and someone up above in the comments said it glitched out their silver shroud quest.
I dunno, I tend to alternate. But I quite enjoy some of the VATS kills. I have a video montage of people's heads getting rocket launchered in slow motion and it will never stop being entertaining to me. I guess I do it because I find it fun? Not because it's easy to win, as you say.
It's weird how sprinting is faster in first person but melee is faster in third.I spent about half an hour testing it out and it's so ******* weird.Like...is it a feature? Was it meant to be this way?WTF Bethesda
first time i played day of defeat source on steam... went running around a corner, face to face with american... fired rifle...he fell and i saw a second guy behind him dead
sure as hell i thanked the almighty gabe for making DoDS more realistic to allow penetrating shots
