Aren't the Saudis fighting a civil war in Yemen right now?

Well...he's actually RIGHT, dumbass.

There's a civil war in Yemen (2 factions within Yemen fighting for control) and Saudi Arabia is taking military action in that civil war in Yemen.

So if American education teaches you to actually research what you're talking about before commenting about it...then it seems you could use some of it.

Look up above m8, look at all his red thumbs, he is a b8er, a master one at that.

I live in Spain by the way. What I meant to say is, they are fighting IN a civil war that is ongoing in Yemen.

Seriously I have no other way to phrase this and you're comment is going to give me a lot of **** for it.

Think of them as the condor legion...except with ten other nations....who somehow can't fight ISIS...THE MIDDLE EAST LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
User avatar #45 to #10 - Bobtheblob (12/14/2015) [-]
Yes they are. Saudi is very buttmad over the Yemeni houthis, which have close ties with Saudi's most hated enemy; Shia Iran.
#28 to #10 - tazze (12/13/2015) [-]
you'd think the definition of a civil war would be very clear to spaniards after the time period between 1936 and 1939

America helps with civil wars all the time. It usually comes back to bite them in the ass though.

Such as the Libya civil war. Where the citizens of the country were trying to overthrow Gaddafi. It's not exactly a secret that America's air force was used to aid the forces against Gaddafi in a bombing.

Therefor, the statement "America was fighting a civil war in Libya" holds true, though it is poorly worded.

absesimpson probably should have said something along the lines of "Saudi is currently aiding the civil war in Yemen."

1) what does that have to with anything?
2) have I said anything to offend you? What's your deal?
3) Other countries intervened in our civil war.

Literally every civil war has had outside intervention:
The American civil war
Vietnam was a civil war.
The Cambodian civil war
The Korean civil war.
Etc
User avatar #107 to #33 - failtolawl (12/14/2015) [-]
you forgot the Spanish Civil War in that list.
User avatar #56 to #33 - thebenders (12/14/2015) [-]
American civil war had no intervention from an outside source. The U.S. made certain that it was between it and the rebeling states and no one else
User avatar #57 to #56 - abesimpson (12/14/2015) [-]
My apologies you are totally right on that one.

I was thinking about civil wars and that one caught my mind for some reason.
User avatar #58 to #57 - thebenders (12/14/2015) [-]
its cool bro, just wanted you to know, but you are totally right most civil wars have outside intervention
User avatar #34 to #33 - tazze (12/13/2015) [-]
I'm a spaniard you twit, I know pretty well that both Germany and the USSR were involved in our civil war, but they weren't fighting in it, Hitler wanted to test his new toys before WWII and the god damn commies wanted to spread their ideology, that doesn't mean they fought a civil war.

Also I was being sarcastic because I'm a cynical piece of **** , you're welcome
User avatar #35 to #34 - abesimpson (12/13/2015) [-]
No need for insults, you nerfherder. Your intentions in the comment seemed quite the opposite. Plus we get **** for no reason everyday, I have no reason to believe this was different.

I actually suspected something when you said "between 1936 - 1939" because the only people interested in Spanish history are spaniards or historians.

Here, I thumbed you back up for historical accuracy. But take it easy.
#36 to #35 - tazze (12/13/2015) [-]
well I can't take it easy when our political parties are so **** I'll just pick the most ridiculous thing I see the 20th of december and vote for it
even tests can't help me now

I've been so focused on my finals I didn't even watch the debate.

Despite my liberal tendencies I think they're all idiots.

Let's just vote for hypnotoad and hope for the best.
User avatar #39 to #38 - tazze (12/13/2015) [-]
as you can see, I've got roughly the same preference for C's, Podemos, IU and UPyD, I HATE being in the political center, but I can't help it, and I just KNOW they're all full of **** , that's why I'll look for the most outrageous party when I go to vote, if there was a BDSM Party I'd be happy to vote them
User avatar #41 to #39 - abesimpson (12/13/2015) [-]
I simply can't trust Pablo Iglesias. He seems like a "demagogo" and gives me a bad sensation although he promises good things, and our classical parties such as PSOE and PP have done plenty to lose our confidence. And for the rest, well, I simply missed out on a lot so I don't know much about them.
User avatar #123 to #41 - zshadowz (12/14/2015) [-]
>Belonged to a communist party
>Promises things everyone wants
>Uses a 'beatiful' speech during the debate to give people hope

I'd rather have the classical parties than a dictator

I feel the same way, but maybe he's just naive. He seemed more reasonable now than when he first presented his party, but I still think he just says what we want to hear.

How is Spain? My mom was from there, but I'm American and never had the chance to ask her about it.
User avatar #54 to #53 - abesimpson (12/14/2015) [-]
So far, where I live it's been cold and windy. Winter always sucks here except for the South.

The food is great and the people are friendly, but our politics suck. Spain is having some major elections in a few weeks and it's possible there might be a new party in power, so I expect things might stirr up here in the near future because a lot of people expect important changes.

User avatar #101 to #54 - tazze (12/14/2015) [-]
cold and windy great food? boy do you even Bilbao, aibalahostia?

Close enough, I live in Portugal's foreskin.

it's cold, it's windy, the water in the river has a strange browish tint, it's raining most of the time, and it's rather small

I'm stupid, I shouldve known better. His first comment seemed legit so I responded.
