In the content gif, the ball didn't go in the basket so it wasn't required that it be passed in. In this gif, the ball goes in so it must be played in from out of bounds to restart the play

Took me a little bit after seeing >>#3 but I think I got it it.
He meant the part were he says " Oh my god ", just before the "Stop ******* lying" part. It sounds somewhat similar to how she was saying "Oh my god".
