I know it's not the autobahn, there's no traffic lights on it and I'm pretty sure they don't use dodge chargers in Germany lol. Porsches and Lamborghinis are their choice for polizei. and yes, the polizei can be found on the autobahn as only certain sections of it are limitless.
About half of the federal Autobahnen has has a speed limit.
The rest has a suggested max of 130 km/h.
You can go faster but if you are nvolved in an accident you can be given a partial blame for it.
Also a lower speed limit can be imposed depending on weather or traffic conditions.
(we have big LED screens for that)
**ashampoo used "*roll picture*"** **ashampoo rolled image**well there is basically a rule of a thumb: if you havent crossed a speed limit sign for some while, you can go as fast as your car can drive. there are some limited areas, e.g. when you have alot of exits in a row, for the only reason that cars entering the autobahn, usually dont enter it with a speed of 200km/h. so it just slows down for everyone because alot of exits/entries result in many cars being slower than the other. the other limitations are construction zones, which goes without saying.
sauce for the picture is wikipedia
Whenever you see an expensive supercar painted in the german police colours your best bet will be that this was done for marketing purposes.
Mostly they have cars like BMW Touring 525, BMW 5 or VW Passat (most common german police car) or Mercedes E (in Hannover)
They receive an engine upgrade and some other modifications of course.
There used to be some Porsche 911 and other models but the last active police Porsche crashed with an animal in the forrest and was put in a museum.
because of the reputation of the autobahn you have people who visit Germany just to go fast. they rent Mercedes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porches, Buggatis, you name it just to go fast. you need a fast car to keep up, it's not 100% limitless, you know
Fahren, fahren, fahren auf der Autobahn
Fahren, fahren, fahren auf der Autobahn
Fahren, fahren, fahren auf der Autobahn
Fahren, fahren, fahren auf der Autobahn
I mean, it's not hard to look down the road and realize that car clearly isn't going to stop. That's not really reaction time so much as proper anticipation.
