I can't really remember correctly but the guy who is talking about taking pictures is hallucinating and seeing his brother/friend who died. Within context it was all very emotional.
Pretty much what OP said. He was hallucinating the entire episode about a good friend he had (which is rare for him) mainly from being in complete denial of said friend's medical condition. This scene was towards the end of the episode where he comes to his senses, realizes he had been seeing and believing what he wanted to and the camera zooms out to a graveyard where his friend is being buried.
Dr. Cox was talking to Branden Fraisers character Ben. Ben was his ex wifes brother, and while he didn't really get along with his ex wife (or a lot of people) he was very fond of Ben. Ben liked to take pictures, so that is why he is referring to pictures. During the episode Dr. Cox was checking up on Ben and Cox had to leave for something. It turned out something went wrong and Ben died. Cox was in heavy denial however and he didn't want to believe that Ben had died, so he buried it down. they are at Ben's funeral though. Earlier in this scene Ben told Cox you have to forgive yourself for everything that happened the other day. And then the dialogue pictured came in and it sunk in.
Why would you hurt me like this? God its almost 1 in the morning and i'm bawling like a bitch. But you know, its good. Its good to cry once in a while. I haven't cried this much since my Uncles funeral. I appreciate that you made this comp, not only did it make me cry, but its making me feel good too.
What the hell is this? Nah, I can't read this. It's a Sunday night, that's almost as bad as getting feely alone on a Saturday or Friday night. I only watched the first few seconds of the first vid and very briefly skipped over the rest of the comp, and I'm already feeling it.
