For anyone interested, the U.S. Secretary of the Navy recently put out that they are considering removing the word "man" from job titles. Which would affect a lot of job titles. Airman, Seaman, Fireman, Yeoman, Legalman, Constructionman, Hospitalman, etc. This is also happening in the Marine Corps.
